The Loan Servicing Representative (LSR II) will be responsible for managing the customer relationship throughout the default process. This role will be the single point of contact primarily assigned to customers throughout the loss mitigation process. The LSR II will be the liaison between the customer and other default departments. and any other mortgage operations' groups as necessary. In this role, this person will work with these other departments and the borrower to ultimately resolve the borrower's delinquency and act as the communication liaison with the borrower for possible solutions and ultimate final outcome.





Duties
*Act as the primary contact for customers and approved third parties.



*Communicate loss mitigation options and decisions to borrowers.



*Understand and communicate specific financial information, including debt to income ratios, tax information, and personal financial statements.



*Hold other departments accountable for completing tasks, while understanding that area's functions and impact on the borrowers.



*Remain current on all default processes, regulatory guidelines, and process changes and understand impacts to customers.



*Research and resolve all customer issues.



*Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate documentation from customers and approved third parties.



*Complete affirmations prior to proceeding to foreclosure, affirming that loss mitigation efforts have been exhausted, or follow the appropriate process to postpone foreclosure due to active loss mitigation.



*Manage postponement of foreclosure proceedings when reasonable efforts not achieved.



*Manage daily workflow for assigned loan population within prescribed timeline and quality metrics.





Specifications:



*Demonstrate advanced skills in verbal and written communication, effective listening, problem solving, and negotiating required.



*Excellent customer service skills and/or sales skills.



*Loss Mitigation experience is preferred.



*Ability to adapt to a changing environment.



*The ability to thoroughly and efficiently document customer contact notes.



*The ability to make decisions based on facts and analysis.



*Excellent time management.



*Ability to self-manage.
