Accounts Receivable Specialist--Attendance/timeliness are HUGE for this position Our client is currently looking for a full time Accounts Receivable Specialist. Someone with 2-3 years of business to business collections or accounts receivable experience is the ideal candidate for this job. Duties will include maintaining demographic records, preparing follow-up letters, verifying data, and resolving routine problems. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be providing efficient customer service for all internal and external customers, utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company and departmental procedures, as well as performing a variety of routine clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures to aid in the collection of delinquent accounts. HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM

Job Requirements:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties maybe assigned. Review A/R Collection Que daily and contact customers on delinquent accounts Provides statements/copies of invoices to customers when needed Responsible for taking credit card payments from customers for account payments Prepares follow-up letters for customer accounts Responds to telephone inquiries an assists in solving questions related to the status of customer accounts. Documents status of collection efforts. Performs limited research in preparation for updating records, such as tracing customer mailing address. Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Preparing, printing and mailing invoices. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties maybe assigned. - Maintains records by filing accounting documents. - Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested. Skills/Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of collections experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Required to have valid driver-s license and own dependable transportation. Word Processing, Excel, Outlook knowledge, data entry and office skills. Ability to interact and communicate with people over the telephone, often in stressful situations. Strong knowledge of customer services ethics, principles and procedures. Ability to use independent judgment and to manage confidential information. Ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced environment. Proficient in administrative and documentation procedures. Strong communication skills: written and verbal. High level of organizational skills with great attention to detail.
