The B2B Collector is responsible for managing and maintaining assigned customer account base. This includes collections of past due invoices while securing customer payments. Ensuring customer deductions and disputes are reviewed and resolved in a timely manner.


Timely collection calls on assigned customer base. This includes prioritizing delinquent accounts to reduce the risk of bad debt.

Identifies, documents and works to resolve customer disputes.

Responsible for ensuring payments are received timely to reduce AR with an emphasis on reducing delinquency and DSO.

Provide customer service to both internal and external customers as it relates to Accounts Receivable while developing ongoing working relationships with these customers.

Coordinate credit applications with AR team to assist with determining customer credit limits.

Ensure dunning processes are followed during the collections cycle.

Identify delinquent accounts that require service suspension/COD until account is current.

Works directly with other groups including billing, sales, accounting to help assist with invoice issues.

Maintain a good follow up system to ensure promises to pay are met and accounts are not neglected.

Refer delinquent accounts to external collection agency once all collection efforts are exhausted.

Other duties as assigned or needed by the organization.


High School Diploma required, University degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years experience in business to business collections.

Knowledge of accounts receivable and/or billing processes as well as analytical skills is desirable.

Ability to utilize financial platforms, ERP software systems.

Accuracy, professional attitude and customer service skill required.

Ability to interact with employees, team members and customers in a professional manner.

Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office. Advanced excel skills preferred.

Ability to work in fast paced environment.

Detail oriented with the ability to be diplomatic in difficult situations.
