Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate, Collections

The Collections Representative handles all-stages of collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. This position will report to the Collections Front Line Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize negotiation skills to resolve customer delinquency issues
  • Research problems, such as skip tracing, to develop external contacts
  • Share knowledge with less experienced collectors
  • Interpret procedural instructions and choose courses of action to resolve delinquencies
  • Support a range of products and services
  • Increases the Recovery of the past due portfolio of the different collection portfolios
  • Aligns with the goals and parameters of the established operational process
  • Ensures compliance with quality objectives and compliance with institutional policies
  • Provides the telephone collection service to the client
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the client s reputation, customers, and assets
  • Drives compliance with applicable laws and rules and regulations; adheres to Policy
  • Call out, handle, and report control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
  • Must possess sound decision making and problem solving skills
  • Should have sound moral and ethical judgment regarding human behavior, conduct, and business practices
  • Remains focused and attentive to the needs and issues of both the customer and the organization
  • Has frustration tolerance, patience, and compassion
  • Relevant work experience
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
